I know this might sound crazy, but could it possibly be that the man is staying off twitter because he is trying to figure out what to make of our shambles of a new conference and our train wreck of a football program? Just a wacky notion that popped into my addled mind. Carry on.

This all just confirms my realization that Twitter will be the downfall of mankind.

you can't fire a coach mid-season who is one game below .500 at a school like SMU, especially when you pretty much have an automatic bowl berth (Hawaii) if you can get bowl eligible.

even when that coach has mailed it in.

hart knows what's going on. he's not just sitting in his office jerking off. but he by no means has a responsibility to us to tell us what his master plan is. i assume he is talking to the money men, to whom he does have some responsibility, but he doesn't owe us an explanation at this point.

he saw the LB situation play out, and i think he knows he can't get us into a situation like that. but like i said elsewhere, hart has been for for all of about 6 weeks. let him do his job.

I'm sure Hart also get some pretty good advice from his Dad...you know, the AD at an SEC school that just fired a coach and is conducting a search now that could land Gruden/Petrino.
