I guess I don't consider black a neutral color like white. I don't like the fact that JJ wears black, I did not like the black jerseys against Army. If JJ is superstitious about the blue, what the heck should we think about black? That was an awful game! I see the intrusion of black as another example of trying to change SMU to what JJ wants and not respecting our traditions. But if he really does not wear the blue because of previous results, then the black should never be considered an option.

Wear plain and sequins, for all I care. JUST WIN!

Gray, white, and black are all neutral colors. Black is just as neutral as white that is unless you are prejudice. LOL.

I wouldn't mind throwing in some grey helmets and pants...

I've always thought of white as a color that all teams wear. Black is an accent color that can be used with teams that are say, green and white. I dont' know.

Why would we want to wear a neutral color? We are representing the school, so we should wear the school colors. If people are wanting something like a different look, how bout blue jerseys with blue pants? That might look cool, different, but still wearing the school colors.

Ok, time for a laugh. Why not have the team wear candy-striped jerseys, red and white, like the Mustang Band, or blue and white?

Now, that would be a college football first.

Put the stripes on the pants and the traditional helmet and those unis look a lot better than the ones we have.
