What's funny is that SMU could make the same points to the ACC:

Billion dollar endowment? Check
New market and fertile recruiting grounds? Check
Strong academics? Check

The notable exception, of course, being a top 25 ranking in either football or men's basketball...

No way. Cincinnati is a low rent school, not good at all. Acc will not pick them. We have a way better shot and we have less then a 30 pct shot.

ACC may grab Louisville before the Big XII does; they can always go back and get Cincy or UConn if needed later. Big question is whether the Big XII can lure Clemson and FSU from the ACC. Those are really the top football targets from the ACC, followed by Va Tech
