Mudiay is the #2 recruit in the country for next year per rivals.

Go get 'em LB!

Do we have any legitimate chance with Mudiay? I thought Kentucky was the clear favorite for him.

It would be awesome to keep nabbing blue chips from the DFW area, but hard to fault the guy if he wants to go to Kentucky with all of the talent they're bringing in

Now Frazier is here we have a better chance at him because they are friends.

@EMudiay7: Congrats to my boy Keith on his commitment to SMU!!!!

Good stuff. Mudiay would be an awesome get. Like gostangs brought up in the basketball forum, we need to make the New Moody an attraction in and of itself with DFW celebrities and an awesome atmosphere- make it the cool place to be.

Deion Sr. needs a presence on campus, at games, functions and in media.

I always liked him - be cool to see Deion, Dickerson, etc., etc...

Could be a major recuiting tool/ boon to SMU athletics - marketing dept. needs to hop on him.

Peace.

See if June & his staff will offer Emmanuel's cousin, Josh Ehambre, a football scholarship. . . I know that's asking a lot.

If Larry Brown brings him in I say we build a statue of Brown that Sam Houston would be jealous of.

when Dave Bliss arrived at SMU, his stated goal in recruiting was to get at least one of the top area players to "stay home" and play at SMU every year. I think Reggie Pink was his 1st DISD recruit, but it didn't take long following that model to build SMU into a top 10 program. Of course, these days with the "one and done" player, it will take more than one top recruit every year
