That is a lie. They were throwing bombs into the 4th quarter. There was no doubt that they wanted the 100.

Running up the score on a team of 45 freshman must have made Jenkins proud.

Whatever makes you feel better. Houston was throwing deep in the 4th quarter against a bunch of walk-ons. Wasn't Andre Ware still in the game in the 4th qtr. I will keep my opinion of Pardee to myself considering his circumstances.

It was definitely satisfying to see the Mustangs hang 72 points on the Coogs at Ford Stadium this year!

I'll take 72 over a team 11-1 last year over 95 against a team that didn't exist the year before.

Damn right, Stallion.

Klingler came off the bench and started heaving bombs downfield. Houston was trying for 100, I liked Pardee before that game. I'd never heard of Jenkins before that game, and I have hated him ever since and always will.

RnB- agree. Prior to that game I had respected Pardee. Afterwards I had a deep disrespect for he and Jenkings both.

Reed had to cheapshot Piland in order do it and it helps your inferiority complex towards us a little bit. In the end, it doesn't really matter. No less than 16 out of 22 starters are returning next year. We told Piland not to come back if he still wanted to play football and we still have O'Korn (for now at least) who is being sought after by Wisconsin and many other BCS programs at the moment along with a JUCO qb coming in to compete for the starting job for next season. We will shove the ball down your throat and make you like it next year, so enjoy it for now. You KNOW we will be back and back with a vengeance.

Plus we have the best running back in C-USA and soon to be Big East (for now at least) healthy and ready to go next year in Sims and a power back in Hurst Bell product Kenneth Farrow who JJ was too stupid not to offer. (OR he saw us offer and got scared)

JJ was an assistant coach under Pardee with the Houston Gamblers in the USFL. In fact he and Mouse Davis gave JJ his big break in coaching.

Hard hits happen, and it's unfortunate when a player gets hurt.
However, Reed's hit on Piland was not "cheap" in any way. Check out the fine work of Ndamukong Suh for that.

And we know JJ's connection with Glanville.
