Clearly academics are important because Duke and Florida state academics have so many things in common.

No, they play in the same conference as Duke, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia Tech, and Wake Forest. If FSU, who is no Harvard but has their academic act together, is the bottom of the pile, then your academic house is in order - beats the HELL out of Memphis, Temple, Houston, SDSU, and East Carolina. Even Louisville has traditinally looked down on these schools from a scholastic standpoint.

Academics are not only the lowest form of smack talk but are also an excuse for those with terrible athletics.

Gotta love that Pony insecurity towards UH. You finally beat us for the first time in almost a decade of domination. Good news for us is at least 18 starters are returning next year while you lose practically all of yours. It's funny how you guys are baffled on how our University, University system and Satellite campuses are growing and growing. Why we completely outrecruit SMU in all major sports. Why more and more people are coming to UH. Our Fall enrollment is about to hit 41k and now we are officially the 3rd largest school in Texas.

You rich snobs try to turn your noses up at us but you can't figure out why we can get 30-35,000 people show up in the "ghetto" to our "dump" of a stadium yet you guys can't even get 20,000 people in a "state-of-the-art" stadium in one of the richest parts of DFW.

HOWEVER unfortunately, we the common man's university and you, the rich man's university need each other and are stuck together.

I'd laugh too if I was a pony. Not much else going for you.
