Iowa St (6-6)
Ball St (for 9-4 UCF)
Air Force
Fresno
La-La

Fresno St has a strong program this year and if we aren't ready they will kick our butt. They have at least 3 great players at QB, RB (1460 yards rushing) and WR (1168 yards receiving). This is probably the best team we've played in a bowl. If anything, SMU is the thing that just doesn't belong

I mean technically we were WAC rivals, plus JJ had a rivalry with csuf at Hawaii. If we don't get to play old swc mates, playing former wac members is the next best thing right?

Their coach is talking it up.

Fresno State coach Tim DeRuyter said his team is in for a challenge in competing against SMU.

I wish I had your positivity but I just can't t be positive when this is what the team desired and JJ wanted this bowl from the beginning. I'm not hating on Fresno just the desire this program had for such a mediocre bowl.

I would gladly buy 10 tickets to the Iowa st vs SMU game (if it were possible) before ever buying one ticket to lame [deleted] Hawaii bowl. I really really hope the big east doesn't try to get that bowl tie in. If they took Tulane and ecu then it can't be too much of a stretch.

We will definitely be the dogs in this game. Reading the comments on ESPN, it sounds like a blow out is virtually guaranteed. Fresno fans upset they are not in a BCS bowl and have to play pathetic SMU. I hope our players are reading it.

Wow. Fresno st. has delusional fans. They think a local hs team could beat SMU. fresno st. is a crappy school in a crappy area. I hope the team sees this and gets motivated.
