Will anyone show JJ some love?
I say No.
Here I am.
I'm not calling for him to get a raise, the ASU thing was embarrassing and I'm not happy about this year, either, but if you think I want his head you're crazy. Trust me - there are some schools in this conference who would LOVE for us to fire JJ; the Memphis fans were celebrating when we all thought he was gone this time last year. He deserves to at least finish out his contract.
That being said, June, it would be helpful if you were a little more intense about recruiting.

If he finishes out his contract we'll have all the proof we need that the people running SMU football are committed to mediocrity.

Somebody wake up Steinberg, put on a pot of coffee for him and find him his cell phone.

My whole point of saying a Litmus test Leopold was regardless of PFs perception of JJ, we will see his real value in the open market.
There are plenty of quality openings, let's see if his name is even mentioned. So far it seems crickets.

No chance. Too toxic of an asset. Better luck selling mortgages and Greek debt than getting someone to hire JJ.

Best case scenario: June wins Hawaii Bowl. They take him back.

I'm sure he would pay himself out if it means he can be with his tiki dolls.
