some Tech fan on facebook told me that Dykes hasn't fully signed with Cal yet so there's still hope

Respond to him: June Jones to Texas TechComet wrote:some Tech fan on facebook told me that Dykes hasn't fully signed with Cal yet so there's still hope
I agree. They will at least interview Kingsberry, there might be some pressure to give him the job. You think it's tough being the HC at SMU? Try making Sand Aggies happy. Many think their program is one of he best in the Big 12 and in college football.SMU 86 wrote:Tech officials were blindsided. Not saying the fans did not want him gone. Just now they are picking from leftover for the most part. They might even have to go for an assistant coach now.

Comet, it would not surprise me if JJ is interviewed for the job. I'm not saying it is going to happen, but it would not surprise me.Comet wrote:Some jokes are not worth losing friendships over.CalallenStang wrote:Respond to him: June Jones to Texas TechComet wrote:some Tech fan on facebook told me that Dykes hasn't fully signed with Cal yet so there's still hope
I welcome Tech's return to irrelevance!lwjr wrote:SMU 86 wrote: You think it's tough being the HC at SMU? Try making Sand Aggies happy. Many think their program is one of he best in the Big 12 and in college football.
Anyone deeply associated with college football should be able to see right through Jones. I can't see Tech even giving him an interview.lwjr wrote: Comet, it would not surprise me if JJ is interviewed for the job. I'm not saying it is going to happen, but it would not surprise me.
You know Mike Leach is having a good laugh over this one.
Yeah, JJ'd be a perfect fit as a coach with Texas ties...oh, wait.lwjr wrote:

Why would anyone move from Waco to Lubbock? Waco isn't great, but it is short drive from Austin and Dallas. Plus, I don't think Tech benefits from the "Big State School" aura in the way that UT and TAMU do.RGV Pony wrote:Briles or Kingsbury to tech
Briles graduated from Tech but he also played three years at U of Houston.Digetydog wrote:Why would anyone move from Waco to Lubbock? Waco isn't great, but it is short drive from Austin and Dallas.
