You always have to recruit no matter how many players you send to the NFL. The top coaches in college football get it, June does not (which is why his recruiting is still 1-AA caliber despite all the NFL players he has produced).

Me thinks we do not go to 4 bowls in a row with div 1aa players.

You do if they're 3rd tier bowls that any mediocre team can make out of a conference like C-USA. June has put something like 50 players in the NFL during his time in college and yet he still recruits at a 1-AA level. Producing more NFL players won't have an effect on recruiting, even the best programs have to go out and battle for players (these are the programs winning championships).
