I don't know what you guys want? We blew out a team that was picked by VERY BODY (including most everybody on this board) to blow us out. SMU scored 40+ points and DOMINATED on defense. Next year may turn out to be ugly. But, on the other hand, if they play like this, we could have out best year in twenty + years. By the way, beating Fresno State takes us out of the minor leagues. They have a winning reputation.

We finished 7-6, we're still in the minor leagues and that won't change until we start winning conference championships and getting ranked.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security
We have to deal with this one game at a time. We don't become A&M or Alabama after loosing virtually every game we play prior to the last four YRS. And we have to build within to become better. There's an old saying "One game at a time." You can be down on this team forever! I'm enjoying the win and I hope we continue winning. This was a big step. SMU - GREAT GAME!
Defense was out of this world good yesterday. Margus could not have picked a better time to play the best game of his career. The offense I thought had its moments but still sputtered. All in all a very very good win for SMU. Congratulations to the coaches and players.
Sorry! I thought this was the SMU board so we could be excited when the team does good! My mistake. I guess SMU needs a board so people can be happy and complimentary as well as negative and reprimanding. Best game in twenty + years and we get scolded for being happy! And this is Christmas too!
Great win. D played great. GG still has not quite gotten his legs under him in the passing department. Adding a draw option to the game plan seemed to help GG at least keep plays positive. GG and the wideouts need to work hard this spring to get their timing down. Funny thing is that if GG could have hit a few long bombs, the score would have been in 60's.
