why accept the invite in the 1st place if this is the way you are going to "represent"?

This mess is a clear reflection of Kiffin.

The school wants the bowl money even if it is a bad trip for the players. If there was a North Dakota Bowl in an outdoor stadium, schools would be lining up to play in them if the money was good enough.

Kiffen is a classless jerk and it shows in how his players act. I predict a Petrino like fall by him soon.

Our 84 team was probably one of our best but because of numerous factors, most notably low attendance, we were not invited to one of the New Year's day games. Bobby Leach, Jr., who I knew and can report was a very smart and very good guy, had a lapse of judgment when a microphone was placed in front of him and he was asked if he was disappointed that we were invited to El Paso. He called it a "pitiful town." Well, of course that comment was picked up and spread all over the media. Bad judgment on his part but it accurately reflected the mood of the team.

I can remember our 64 team played Oregon, as I recall, in the Sun Bowl and they all came down with food poisoning and we could barely put a team on the field. Not sure I ever got the true story of where more than 20 players got the food poisoning.

As bad as El Paso is, it is far and away above Watts, where USC is parked! Let's see the burning "hood" vs. burning fajitas?

The Verdict
USC didn't up on time for Sun Bowl game either
21-7 with 9 minutes left. Should have stayed home

I didn't see the game but stats suggest Ga Tech emptied the bench and everyone on their roster ran all over USC today

Good for Georgia Tech. USC got what they deserved.
No offense HB Pony Dad.
