Right. I was walking around and looking at the crowd, there were a lot of Alabama fans on our side, and they had red on. I will agree that we had a lot more than Pitt.Stallion wrote:at most 6,000-7,000. These bowl have substantial corporate sponsors that buy their own tickets too. I think some are counting all attendees that happen to have red or blue winter coats too
Pitt actually should have won that game. They gave it away. I guess they gave it away cause they are bad.LA_Mustang wrote:How in the world did Pitt take ND to 3 OTs?
We are lucky if this many show up for a home game.LA_Mustang wrote:![]()
29,726 last year when we were there. I would guess 17,000-18,000 SMU fans. We did our part.
I am shocked that you were not there. You complained so much about the timing and location of the Hawaii bowl keeping you from attending that I would have assumed you had been there in Birmingham.SMU_Alumni11 wrote:Well from the TV point of view, it almost looked like we filled half the stadium... What, you actually expected him to attend? You know it is so much easier to post the same gripes over and over rather than to actually travel to an SMU bowl game.Grant Carter wrote:I am shocked that you were not there.
