This is not a remark as to the ability of the kid you just got, however, the "decommitment" from Arkansas was not actually by his choice. Good pick up for UH.

And in case you do not know, I am the Chairman of the SMU WDNWHA Committee and I have contact with the WDNWHA Committees of all major Universities (and Houston too) and so I do know of what I speak.

Just got word that we had a DB decommit from Iowa State and committed to us. I also heard that a kid just switched his commitment from Tennessee to us too. Rivals has us listed at 26 recruits so far and we're going to have at least 30 before its all said and done, though we enrolled a handful of them early.

Yep. Players aren't the brightest sometimes but sometimes they are the smartest in the class. That's why I don't usually call all players dumb jocks. I'd brag about my athletics and high school academics but I know no one cares
