That's exactly what I was thinking. They are going from a Chevy to a BMW pretty quickly. There is no comparison to the price of season tickets I'm currently in with the same seats in the new stadium!

Seems like currently we have a lot of people holding good seats that do not attend games. I could not buy a good seat when I went but there were plenty of empties. I would think that this pricing might at least inspire those that buy them to show up. This could turn out to be a good thing.

Yep, and certainly those same ticket holders now will have a top notch experience to show off to their friends and family! No shows, no more...or at least not so much.

Read on [deleted] that someone called and the seats on the sidelines that do not have prices on the website are something like $500 deposit and $300 for a season ticket. Hopefully that is in the sweet spot you were talking about. It sounded pretty good to me.

$500 deposit or donation?

Hmmm, if anyone interested in splitting 4 seats in either Club sideline or Club Corner or non club Center court, then let me know.

I don't get going to suites for bb games. My company has suites for both Uconn football and basketball. When they aren't being used to entertain, we get free tix to the games (have to buy your own food/booze).
If SMU actually plays at the XL Center next year, I plan on buying seats behind our bench. Better view and more fun. The boxes at the XL Center, like Moody, are in the rafters. Why would anyone want to sit up there?
If I was buying season tix (or a single game tix) at Moody, I would buy seats in 212 or 213 right behind the SMU bench. Hearing LB scream at people is great fun. He manages to be corrective and supportive at the same time.

They would be smart to figure out a way to allow STH's to donate their tix back to the school.
Example: You have great seats next to the court. You can't go to the Furman game. You donate the tix to SMU and get a tax deduction. SMU resells the same seats to me. They get more money and the court side seats are full.
Despite hundreds of empty court side seats at Furman, the best seats I could buy were 213 row 15?

These prices are crazy - seem to be based on the old big east C7 bball schools coming to town. Not quite the same now

That sounds like a good idea. Whatever they do they need to find a way to maximize the crowd along with selling the tickets. I realize the money drives the bus but an empty bus is useless when driven.

Would have thought they would actually try and fill Moody before coming out at that price level. I'm a little surprised. The 150 fans that will pay that level will have a lot of leg room

They already do at the lower price. Difference is the empty seats now are sold, just not used.
