Should have received an invoice in mail weeks ago and a follow up email in the last few days. Bottom line, one-fourth of football tickets due Feb. 1 and remainder due May 1. MC donation due by April 1.
They can't expect too many renewals... I mean I'm glad they have taken a stand with the big east but there is no guarantee ever in college football. So yes what I'm implying is if we make the stupid decision to go to the mediocre west conference... I don't want season tickets. I wish they just wait to do renewals til there is more confidence in our situation...

so, you renewing your season tickets or going to games is dependent upon what conference we are in?

We are in the Big East next year, which is the year they are selling season tickets for. They do not make you buy season tickets for multiple years in advance so if you are going to stop attending games if SMU joins the MWC you will be able to make that decision later.

I thought pretty much SMU is a free agent at the moment so if we wanted to go to the mediocre west we can starting 2013? Is that not correct? If this is Big East guaranteed then ill renew.
Junior, I know you will disagree with me which is fine. I think of it as a minor protest and disapproval of making a stupid decision to join the mediocre west. If SMU said we are joing back in Cupcake USA, would you not cancel your season tickets? I didn't say I wouldn't go to the games but envisioning us playing pretty much any mediocre west game I would be bored out of my mind and plus the per game cost tickets would be cheaper than the season tickets.

we are guaranteed at least next season in the Big East.
and yes, i would still renew my season tickets no matter what conference we are in. i don't go to see our opponent. i go to cheer on my team.

I had season tickets this past year in CUSA. If we went back to CUSA, I would have season tickets again. Luckily we are in the Big East.... Like what has been said before, cheer on the Mustangs regardless.
