You laugh, but a lot of teams are already starting to announce new stuff for next year and special uniforms, etc.

I'm sure in standard SMU style we will know what we are wearing when the team comes out against Tech.

I'd bet they're the same. At least 2 years for the current design.
Maybe a small change, like stripes, etc..

Tech already released a slew of varying helmet designs for next year...

If you have an opinion on the Jersey, make sure to send a tweet to Rick Hart.

I want Big East Blue to be the main color next year with the Pony Express Jerseys as the foundation of the design.

I agree. Black jerseys/uniforms (grey too) are too much ... me too ... And, have no linkage to our traditions. We can be more creative than that. Seems like Red, Blue and White gives us tremendous flexibility to be innovative, if that is important.

I believe the GAAP rule for not-for-profit organizations is: Football jerseys are to be amortized over two seasons, or one post season game, if they are black in color.
