Also, last season's SMU team was not one of our better teams. For the last four years we've had essentially the same record. It wasn't like last season's team was 10-2 and was running teams out of the stadium (except Houston). We lost to freaking Tulane and Rice. Last season's team was as mediocre as the ones before it.

Attendance smack from UH us the worst example of "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones".

How is it that a university with 250k alumni and 40k students can't average 30k one year after an almost bcs run (2012)?

How is it that even with your school subsidizing 54% of your budget you can't keep up with the SMU base you denigrate?

I have no issue with either school but attendance smack from a school drawing around 12% of their local base is off base to say the least.

This is coming from a school that plays in The Big 12 (thanks to some home cookin' by Mama Richards) and can't fill its own stadium (which happens to be the smallest in the conference) without the help of a tarp or the whorns (which still doesnt help you half the time) and actually, our first couple of home games were sold out and well over 30k. We only dropped once our record was in the toilet.

Also bragging on 30k is laughable to us. We had over 40 for SMU, SHSU and others. Our stadium may be the smallest in the Big 12 (before TCU) but is 20k larger than yours so its really funny to hear you try and use it as smack when you are twice our size.

Look you can spin, attack, and what not but SMU schooled you, offers a better donor base, and attempts to attendance smack them are pretty hollow until you can get scoreboard back.

That's like a midget telling an average man he is short because Lebron James is taller.
