keep in mind that TCU had SMU on the schedule as pretty much a "cupcake" game. If we finally start competing with them, we could be off their schedule pretty quickly

Then maybe we should start beating those BCS teams, we'd get more benefits from those wins and eventually they'd see us as too much of a threat to keep playing.

Yup. Thought that myself - can you say Arkansas '96 and '97?
Here's hoping we win and they remember having scheduling problems.
