I don't think anyone can argue that JJ hasn't been incredibly lazy during his time at SMU.
We are a paycheck to him. That's the same as most employees, but we seem to have forgotten to provide him with the incentive to work hard or... Else.

I think lots of people can argue with that. I for one have no idea what sort of effort he puts in, but perhaps you can enlighten me and tell me what he does everyday?

Did you follow any other football programs before you crossed the pond to SMU to compare June's performance to?

I have always said it is letting him off too easy to say he was/is not trying his hardest. To blame the results on laziness implies that if only he was motivated we would have won more games because he is such a good coach.
I assume he is trying as hard as be can and he has just not been capable of doing any better. Rather than arguing about how much effort he puts in, i just care about the results.

I don't know if he's lazy or not. I don't know the man, don't know his work habits.
All I know is it used to be that a five win season was a massive sign of optimism, and now we call for the coach to get fired after seven wins and a bowl win. That tells me he has done wonders for our program, regardless of what happens this year.

I didn't follow it as closely but I followed Notre Dame to an extent. But I'm not comparing JJ to anything as I don't have the facts before me, and I doubt that JJ ever subscribed to traditional ideas of recruiting, but that is just a sense that I get.
