As to UH, I'm hopeful there is going to be an NCAA investigation.

I would think for any old timer that UT would be at the top of that list. Not saying you are an old timer but I am.

Rebel 10--
As an old timer myself, you can bet UT is on my list. Just not ahead of UH.

I hate every school that's not SMU... Kidding, I'm not that radical but if I were to list the schools I despise the most it would go in this order. Here is the top five of my "hate power rankings."
1. Texas
2. A&M
3. TCU
4. Tech (because of their fans)
5. Houston (because of Cougar King)

Pretty soon we are going to have a schedule of "I don't give a damn" Hate is much preferable which will be defined by attendance

All due respect to the olds on here, but there will be incoming freshmen this year who werent born yet the last time SMU played Texas in football.

For me It has more to do with the infamous airport meeting and excluding SMU. After all, our maids went to UT died with the hiring of Turner. Sadly died. I liked my UT maid.

Wonder if we we would have beaten UT a single time had we kept playing them?

Our best chance probably would have been that nightmare 5-7 season they had a few years ago

You might be right as that was in 2010 when we had a 7-5 regular season record and finished the year 7-7.

How many wins do we have against bcs teams? And Texas has been substantially better than your average bcs team. No chance we would have had a game decided by less than 2 TDs in the past 20 yrs.

I imagine you could win some good money betting them if SMU has ever beaten Texas 44-14.
