FYI - I'll be in Wrightsville Beach Aug 2 - 4 staying at the Shell Island Resort for a wedding. Would love to get some great recs for booze and food and potentially meet up for a beer.
Harry-
That would be great. I live in Landfall CC, just over the bridge. I think you will love Wilmington and WB- the scenery during the summer is unbelievable with all of the college women running around in bikinis.
On the beach, a friend of mine owns 22 North Bar & Grill. Good food, great nightlife as well but it is a younger crowd. Ask for Jimmy Radle, the owner - everyone there just calls me 'Smoo'.
The Oceanic is a great palce to eat if you want to be on a pier or have great views from inside the restaraunt. Great seafood, but very small bar. Good places to grab a beer include Jerry Allen's sports bar, Buddy's, Lagerheads. The bartender at the Sunspree resort is a good friend as well - ask for Pete McDowell. He will take care of you.
I will PM you with my contact info.
Wow this is great. Really really really appreciate it!

Follow @hoopmanx on twitter. It is amazing the work our staff in doing in recruiting. If you had any doubt that we are playing with the big boys, drop them. We are and it's great!

I believe top 5 would fall within the top 20 category.

I'm a no. Not a reflection of HCLB or SMU, but the fact that we don't have enough schollies. Top classes are almost always filled with 4+ recruits.

Not really. We have 3 scholarships. Arkansas and Florida just had 2. Arizona, Duke, Michigan, and North Carolina had 3.

There could always be some "attrition".....

Yes really. 18 of the top 25 had 4+ and most had multiple top kids. Classes like Florida (with less than 4) had two top 10 kids. I hope otherwise, but I doubt SMU lands anyone top 30 which is going to make top 25 tough with 3 spots. If there's "attrition" all bets are off.

Have you seen who we are recruiting (mostly 4 and 5 star players)? This is not the football staff we are talking about here. We get Mudiay, Turner, and Buford we are top 20 for sure. I believe ARob, Lattin (or E. Robinson), and Buford would give us a top class as well. If attrition happens we might be top 15 again.
By the way, we are in a major dogfight with South Carolina for Buford.
