The rule is that if the school has evidence of impropriety then they are required to suspend him pending NCAA investigation. If they don't and it is later determined that they had such evidence then I believe they have to forfeit any games he played in.

according to the fox sports southwest report I read, it said this happened in January and he, reportedly, made a five figure amount from his autographs. I doubt if anything happens either, but it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

NCAA should really nail him. After all they didn't hesitate to suspend the Ohio St. players for a similar activity. Autographs for money or garb for tatoos- which is worse? Of course the NCAA won't have the cajones to do anything- they never do when it comes to the f-aggies.

I don't know much about Joeckel, but I'm sure he's a major stud. I think the upsurge in A&M recruiting pre-dates Sumlin. Sherman also brought in top-tier talent. Aggies are going to grind us into the dust, with or without Manziel. I'm looking forward to that game like I would a root canal.

Johnny Football takes flaunting the rules to a new level. It is the NCAA but I can't imagine him playing this year.

I remember when people use to call the SMU program disgusting right after the DP.

again you've got an intentionally weak NCAA without subpoena powers. If the principals involved refuse to spill the beans it will be hard to prove.

If Manziel is ineligible, this could setup pretty well for us. Alabama beats the [deleted] out them the week before, and then we come into town. All of their preseason hopes about a national title/conference championship will have been dashed, and they may be at their lowest point.
