The SMU defense kept the Mustangs in the Battle for the Iron Skillet for much of the game last season, but once again the offense wasn’t there to help in the rainy game against the Horned Frogs. This season is different with Gilbert and Shead each totaling over 100 yards on the ground and the defense stepping up again for the Mustangs. Casey Pachall is picked off by the Mustangs at least twice in the redzone and ultimately that kills TCU.
Prediction: The team rebounds extremely well to win the Iron Skillet 32-21.

Not to hate, but....
Did he not watch the game? Gilbert had 5 INTs and we couldn't score from inside the 5 friken yard line.
He is right. The defense kept SMU in the game. Even with the turnovers while the weather was a down pour.

As far as I'm concerned, the TCU game is ALWAYS the biggest game of the year.
Well if you read over on the Tech board, they think that Tech is our superbowl. They are sorely mistaken and forget the fact that we play about 3-4 much better teams than them
