If a coach has to "get the message" to recruit, the fundamental activity of colkege football, we deserve better
Last years was a good CUSA class. I just hope we reshirt a lot of them to develop them. I know 2 or 3 will play this year but let's hope we redshirt the rest.Lebanese4Life wrote:Have you checked out our recruiting class? I think June is safe in his job, and the Mustangs may surprise quite a few this season. June has placed a number of athletes in the NFL, and is starting to recruit - finally.
It would be more interesting if Deion didn't have a UA contract currently. Not sure about Prime, but UA made special Deions shoes for his HOF speech last year etc.SMU 86 wrote:Interesting post from the a Baylor site.

This is not a shock. Deion has big ties to NIKE and SMU has a great recruiter with ties to NIKE.
Also, Larry Brown is known commodity and can be trusted by player representatives to develop players. "He won't be there long" isn't going to work because these recruits aren't planning to stay very long in college. You can trust Brown to get merchandise to market. This is the bottom line.
