Re: Season Expectations
4-8, we get off to a 1-4 start but rally with 3 wins in 4 games before fizzling in late Nov/early Dec.

Re: Season Expectations
I think I've reached a point with this football program where I don't have too many expectations coming into a new season...other than to hope we are competitive
I might develop some expectations (record-wise) after tonight's game
can't wait to see what the Mustangs have got!

4-8. I dont have much faith in our receivers or any of our linemen

Re: Season Expectations
I've seen enough to now expect no better than 4-8. If we lose next week, we could be a 2-10 team and if that happens, we better see the backup QB get some snaps and start preparing for next year
Re: Season Expectations
4-8 at best. We can do worse so hang on it's gonna be bumpy.

Re: Season Expectations
Oh, b.s. We are not THAT bad. We can beat Rutgers, and UCONN and UCF. I see us losing to A&M and TCU and Cincy. That's four losses. Maybe five. So it's 8-5.ojaipony wrote:5 wins tops. Our lines are just too green and not betting on GG to be much better. Wins come against Montana St (I understand they are a top FCS team, but if we lose to them we should just kill the program), Temple, UConn, Memphis, and maybe a minor upset somewhere else. Very doubtful we beat anyone else. I hope I'm wrong.

Re: Season Expectations
the question is "how good/bad is Tech?" Let's see how we look against a top FCS team next week. K-State going down on their home field should be a wake up call for SMU. Still wish we had Baylor coming in, but the "plan" was to schedule a W so it better turn out that way.
We've got a long season ahead but will have to improve a lot to beat UCF. Hopefully these guys can find a way to at least win 4 of 6 at Ford. Next week is a MUST win
