My two grandkids are now at SMU...thet have complained all week about cell phone service. ...and tonight ,in the stadium,it did not work to text, and barely to call...there is no improvement...it is a hazard to the students...a problem well known to the administration...just see what sort of lawsuit is filed after the next assault,if lack of service is an issue..

overall - much better game day experience. No doubt about it - so lets start there.
thought - we need some pre-recorded "legends" pieces - lot of teams have those - to play at key points in the game (like when the other team is starting their chants).

No geldings! Good tunes. Pyrotechnics. Improved videos. All good.
Liked the fact that the O hung in there to the end and were able to move the ball against a Big XII defense. Bummed tonight, but lots of positives to take away from tonight.

Someone needs to make sure the announcer doesn't have a whiskey stash for the next game.

Way to much prerecorded music - it is not an NBA game. They played every dead ball and way too much. It is a college football game for gosh sakes.

I know most people would rather hear a band than canned music. I messaged them again making it 7 games in a row I've hit the text line about it.
SID, do you have any control over this? I understand we want to learn about win-wins and home runs to get that corporate $$$ but when the scoreboard is playing Journey for the tenth time I get confused. Do you remember that we have a (poorly payed yet passionate) band? What gives?

Absolutely. The band can't play before knockoffs. They get to play like two songs. Third a goal and the mini mustangs are out there. We have to listen to a sideline reporter talking to random people in the stands. Not a second goes by without the PA blaring with a commercial or an announcement or a song.
It just doesn't feel like a college game. No wonder our fans sit in their hands.

I really appreciated the 5 minute explanation on how to find both 75 AND the Tollway. I was so nervous about getting home from this distant world.
