The only coaches with both are Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer age 70 and 75. hmm, interesting.

The "ALL IN" phrase should be a big hint in how we've done with hotshot upwardly mobile
coaches.
Who do you think we should get because after next year? Because SMU will have to search.
If that the case I think it will be an interesting search for sure because we can't get left out of the next realignment.

Those of you that think that a search is a foregone conclusion (rather than a JJ contract extension) are mistaken. There are powers that be at SMU that are more afraid of moving backwards than they are of being mediocre. Those powers are strong and have big opinions and bid pocket books. Do not rule out a contract extension.

And I hope 'those big pocket books and powerful people' plan to buy lots of season tickets because we are going to be losing a lot of hard-core long time fans if JJ gets an extension.
If they want butts in the seats so that we have a possibility of moving to a major conference when the next shakeup occurs then they best not give an extension.

How do you know? What do you base that on? I'm not saying you're wrong, because I don't know. Jerrance Howard recruited 24/7 last year, and my sense, which might be wrong, was that Maligi did, too. Thanks.

How do you know Howard recruited 24/7 last year and what do you base that on? You are throwing out just as bad of an assumption. I thought they helped a in practice like any other assistant coach. I believe the staff can do both. Now let's beat Montana State.
