This whole thing was such a debacle.

As I walked to the stadium (late) and DROVES of people were heading home / still boulevarding it honestly made me sad. Sure MState is relatively unknown to us Texans, but they are an awesome and competitive team in the FCS.

Like someone else said we would have been better off with Baylor in town and potentially getting spanked. Heck MState almost did it. No one cares about wins over teams you are expected to win over!

Oh yeah and about the whole RED and BLUE chant it took us a while until we finally understood what the student section was saying and what was expected of us. I was in section 109 by the way. I finally joined in once I got it. Lets try that some more and I bet it will be a little more successful. Don't throw in the towel just yet.

I tried to get stick horses (kid toy with horse head on a stick) to be the norm and mostly people looked at me crazy when I carried it around. Finally, years later I have seen other people with the stick horses. Now that would be something fun to see. 1,000 stuffed horse heads bobbing up and down in the stands.

Well, giddy up and I joined in the red blue chant. We may have been one of about a dozen on the west side that did.

While our student section should have more at the game game and they should stay after half time, the ones who do stay do make a lot of noise. Just wish the whole crowd helped them. Of course it is hard getting fired up when the guys are not exactly lighting it up.

I believe MSU travelled better than our conference mates did last year.

Their section was solid. I think it's going to take a culture change for greek life to get more students in.

We had a large number of fans in the lower half of 104. I was there the entire game and have no clue what you are talking about. Before you start slamming us perhaps you need to get your facts straight if that is something you are capable of doing.

That's just ESPN BS politics on TV stuff My estimate, and I'm usually close is 17500.

I'm not defending our attendance because it is pathetic but our natural rivals, TCU and Baylor, both ranked in the top 25 had terrible attendance today,

Yeah but they did play at like 1 in the heat.

My fiance and I ran into some people she knew at the BLVD at about 6:40. I said well we have to go to the game and they looked shocked and said "yall are going to the game?" lol. That just isn't going to ever change.

Are we seriously surprise by fan turnout? I was actually impressed for the garbage we put out there, and not just today.

No way was it only 10,107. There were probably 10,107 on the west side alone
