Agreed, good fans. With so many Texas kids on their roster, I'm sure there were a lot of F&F locals, but still.

Nice to hear we were well represented. I wish I could have been there. Maybe I'll come down if we get to Frisco. I'm still disappointed in the outcome of this game, but our guys are resilient and will be fine.
Y'all have a fine football team, and by all accounts, a friendly, welcoming, fan base that I've enjoyed bantering with all week. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Thumbs up to MSU fans. I am also a fan now and will be rooting for them to get to the championship in Frisco.

Agreed: MSU 1, Disco Tech 0 as to the fan deal.
We usually move over behind the band at some point, welcomed as band fans. During the Tech game, the Alumni Band asked some Tech fans to leave the reserved section and were answered with obscenities (in front of children), later enforced by stadium police. An MSU fan across the aisle started the game yelling something similiar, but after a few words from an Alumni Band member and a lady who looked like his Mama, he cleaned up his act while still cheering mightly. Good job Cats!
And, yes, I do wonder if it's a biggerTexas thing. A&M, TCU, and Houston fans have all behaved badly during our student's tenure. Very sad.

I go to the UH games when they're in town (because I live in Houston area). Having been to quite a few big rivalry games around the country... I won't say that UH fans are the worst.. but I will say, they're trying to be.
P.S. If you ever get a chance to go to Norman for an OU game, I've had several great experiences up there thus far.

BTW, most of we southerners
DO know how to spell "

The only time I've been to Norman was for a Tulsa-OU game in 1996. Nice atmosphere and you can imagine how OU fans reacted when Tulsa won!

I threw a rod in my car once on the way back from Lubbock. I do not recommend that.
