I think tcu has shown that they can generally bang with any program in the country. That doesn't always translate to wins, and being in one of the best conferences in the country results in a tough schedule for sure. A national championship requires everything falling into place and some luck along the way for almost every program out there. I wouldn't say tcu has a great chance of going to an NC, but I also wouldn't say they have no chance. When was the last time they lost by several TDs?

They're a top 30-35 team, which is nothing to sniff at from SMU's perspective. But all this TCU talk that now that we're in a BCS conference we'll be vying for national championships every year is bunk. Welcome to reality. You're an average Big 12 team.
