“Feeling sorry for themselves,” Patterson said after Wednesday’s practice. “If we don’t grow up, we’re not going to win any more ball games.”

If we got a quote from JJ about our team like this, I'd have a little hope. It pisses Patterson off when they don't play/practice well. That's the kind of passion I want from our coach.

Seems like the bubble screen is the only play we run, therefore 35-7 froggies

Oh come on, let's get over it! This is the start of something big and we can beat these big twelve snots from FW. Get mad and get glad, Mustangs.

I thought the same thing, but was informed it's different. It's now the "motion screen"...

What bothers me about the motion screen is that EVERYONE knows it's going to the RB in the flat. Can we please have a little variety?

What bothers me is that it has yet to get anyone going past the scrimmage line. Considering how many attemps we have made at it, I would say it is not an effective play and we need to start going vertical again...assuming any of our WRs can get separation. Why not use some of the plays we seem to save for a bowl game...like a slot receiver up the middle wide open. It works in Hawaii.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Tech ran a similar play against TCU and broke 1 of its 2 big plays of the game-big difference an outstanding downfield block by Tech's Bradley Marquez-those plays can work but you really need physical downfield blockers. Tech has those guys-SMU doesn't

SMU needs a couple of early scores to put the [deleted] among the pigeons - and I think we get them and win 27-23.
I do know it's going to be stressful but it will be worth it.
