How many times have the JJ supporters on this board said we should wait a year for the QB to learn the offence and so on?

Emmanuel Sanders used to say it took a while to get really comfortable in the offense. He learned the routes right away, but when he was a senior, he talked about how he was more comfortable in the systems, that he made adjustments without thinking, or something like that. He's considered a smart player and he's starting in the NFL, so I'd say he knows a lot more about this stuff than we do, and definitely more than the author of that article does.

You're a fool if you don't think June's teams play harder and his coaches scheme better in Hawaii versus anywhere else. Different play calls, different intensity. It's so obvious.

If true, and June knows this, he's treated his QB-situation horribly. Switching horses every two seasons is not a way to get your offense to gel. Secondly, we'd expect several years of great offenses followed by several years of "learning". We have 4-yr starters that are still learning and this offense has always been stale. Curious.

It's better to be flatlining at 8-5 than 1-11.
