They better be fired up because it is the first conference game in a BCS conference regardless of how many fans are there.

Could not put it more succinctly myself. If JJ is to be believed, this is where it counts. I expect the performance to reflect that.

What do you mean "no win expected"?! How can you call yourself a fan if you don't expect our team to execute correctly and win? In other words, do its job?

I hope you are kidding. Have you seen this team play at all this year?
Execute correctly? I see that we are the 3rd most penalized team in all of FBS. I see an onside kick lead to a TD the other way against TCU. I see numerous ST bonehead plays (um, taking the ball out against TAMU from 9 yds deep in the end zone, when the lead blocker motions to stay put). False starts. Missed blocks. Passes to nobody. Passes not caught by open receivers. Arm tackling. Missed assignments.
I have actually turned 2 of our games off in the 2nd half becasue they got out of hand and were, quite frankly, embarrasing to watch.
I will be there in person for Rutgers - and I hope to see a crisp, smart game from a motivated team. We shall see. Hope I get proven wrong - I really do.

Experience.

It's no longer going to be a BCS conference past this year...so it should mean more to the team than ever!
