Didn't hurt that the game was televised on ESPN primary and not "ESPN8, The Ocho"!

Relevant channel + conference showdown + nail biting 4th quarter = entertainment.

I am sick of seeing lopsided backside poundings. Baylor putting up >=69 points in all games this year and having a 77-7 victory is stupid and boring. Same can be said for our first few games of the season. However the wheels typically do not come off until late in the 3rd, early 4th.

Actually, the game was on ESPN News, which is pretty much The Ocho. Makes it even that much better to hear people chat about it.

I've even had some non-SMU fans tell me they saw a replay on ESPNU and watched the end again!
