Ford is mostly dead, it could use some booze to spice it up and make audible noise. I'm tired of it being a boring football environment. If it was an exciting place to be, people would stay longer.
This is a tired cliche that is getting old. The west side will stand and yell their brains out...when there is something to cheer about. Fourth quarter and OT at the Rutgers game is a perfect example. Lots of standing and yelling on the west side in the fourth quarter. The whole west side was standing and cheering loudly for all three OTs. It gets very hard to continue to cheer for the team and yell out encouragements to the team when the results are three and outs, stupid penalties, false starts and a defense that looks totally uninspired, but give the fans something to cheer about and we will oblige.

Rant over.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I really do not think that beer and wine sales will chase "families" away. As stated, plenty of kids and families at the pro venues. At a SMU game, I sure wouldn't mind a beer or two. I am not going into the game to get hammered. Even at home, when I go to Carolina Hurricanes games, we sit in a section near a bar that serves local craft brews. (I bet some Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde would be nice at the game.)

I think that this would bring in more interest in a casual fan.

Go Ponies!

See me vs Rutgers last weekend... I thought i lost my cooler on the walk back to the car but my gf said I just sat it on the corner of SMU and 75 and said " F*** it!" Then I forced her to stop at burger house and had a triple meat with fries....none of which I remember....

Oh no!!!!!! Bring your helmets to the stands gentlemen. There are going to be glass bottles flying left and right. You should probably wear throw away clothes too since they will surely be covered in vomit

This is the worst!!
