They should use some of that cash to pay for seat fillers like the awards shows.

Fire Marshall was probably busing having to clear the concourse.CalallenStang wrote:Stallion wrote:laugh all you want TCU had 41,894 paying customers today-probably the only unsold tickets were from Kansas allotment. That's a lot of cash SMU needs
TCU's attendance numbers are bullshhite...they said they had 41,000 people vs Southeastern LA. The only attendance number that was accurate was SMU vs TCU in which they did bring a crowd (45k). I do not believe they brought 42k people to the Kansas gamemrydel wrote:Fire Marshall was probably busing having to clear the concourse.CalallenStang wrote:Stallion wrote:laugh all you want TCU had 41,894 paying customers today-probably the only unsold tickets were from Kansas allotment. Fix attendance? I will give you "help" but not "fix".feelthehorsepower wrote:sbsmith wrote:That place is going to be covered in burnt orange on Oct. 26.
True, and remember a lot of those season tickets are stub hub people that buy them and then resell to fans from other Big 12 teams.
DFW has attendance problems for its teams: TCU, SMU, Mavs, Cowboys, Rangers, Stars...if they aren't winning..people are not going to show
SMU can fix attendance by allowing alcohol in the stadium. That is the biggest gripe from our fans in the boulevard....
I think it will...our students would love if they could drink at the games. I have asked several people at our boulevard and they all agree. Being at an SMU game without alcohol sucks especially seeing our guys fumbling the ball and june jones not challenging plays that should be called in our favor...mrydel wrote:Not sure beer will even help attendance but it will generate income.

Announced attendance: 41,894
If Texas and OU were in our conference, we would also have a lot of Texas/OU fans as season ticket holders who wouldn't show up when we played at the same time as Texas/OU.Stallion wrote:selling Season Tickets is selling 6-7 at once even if it rains, or Texas/OU is playing or its 11:00 am game. Most of them already drink before, during and after the games anyway.feelthehorsepower wrote:I think it will...our students would love if they could drink at the games. I have no argument with your statement. But the fact is they had pitifully poor attendance at the game. Whenever we are slammed for low attendance the fact that we have many or few season ticket holders is not discussed. Just that we have no one in the stadium, or how bad it looks on TV. I am saying the same thing here. Fan support at TCU was very bad today regardless of their season ticket sales.Stallion wrote:selling Season Tickets is selling 6-7 at once even if it rains, or Texas/OU is playing or its 11:00 am game. TCU is laughin all the way to the Bank
