Mrydel, I hear what you are saying. I just want a coach with assistant coaches who are energetic, they hustle to recruit, the kids can relate to them, loves the school they are coaching and work there butts off to succeed.mrydel wrote:I have a feeling we will not know how anyone we get will perform until after they get here. I would just think ( and I am not pushing for or advocating Shannon) that a relatively young African-American head coach who could put together a good active staff could recruit the heck out of the DFW area. Same criteria for any race, but it might help our lily white image to go with a coach of color.
