It will be if the Hawaiian fraud is gone and we have a coach that wants to be here and not just collect multi-million dollar checks.
Back off Warchild seriously.

The suggestion was TCU has been overly competitive despise losing their starting quarterback, three offensive linemen, and the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.SMUer wrote:"A play of two away from 5-1"...oh gosh...isn't every team?

TCU is still a respectable No. 30 in the Sagarin ratings-only about 65 places bbetter than SMU

Re: Patterson: TCU Attendance
Yes, I think the Horny Toads will see attendance drop as Big 12 competition wears them down,
and perceived mediocrity in the Big 12 causes decline in the overall program.
I bet they have lost 5-6 starters (STARTERS) in the last 2 seasons due to the drug thing. That's why they are struggling.
Losing your starting quarterback Casey Pachall, Big 12 DPotY Devonte Fields, and a handful of your starting OL never helps. The funny thing is, even after all of our injuries, we've be a play or two from being 5-1 right now and have been competitive in every game.
"Fear the Frog"? lol funniest phrase ever. No one fears you! SMU has never/will never "fear the frog". The Big 12 laughs at the frog...lol

SMU is 1-4 being coachless...FroggieFever wrote:The suggestion was TCU has been overly competitive despise losing their starting quarterback, three offensive linemen, and the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.SMUer wrote:"A play of two away from 5-1"...oh gosh...isn't every team?
SMU was a play or two away from beating:
1) TCU
2) Texas Tech
3) Rutgers
But they didn't happen...

Re: Patterson: TCU Attendance
We were nowhere near good enough or "close" enough to beat TCU. Look at the score. We had ONE good drive in the first quarter and then TCU essentially shut us down until garbage time.
I will give you Rutgers, although it took an unbelievable comeback down 35-14 in the fourth quarter where we were in scramble mode.
Tech, also, not "one or two" plays away. We had a chance when we were called for the phantom hold at the goal line, but I saw nothing in that game that would've made me think Tech wasn't going to win by 10 points or more.
We "COULD" be 2-3. We probably have the record we deserve at 1-4, although you could certainly argue we didn't deserve to win the Montana State game either.
