Do we really want to spend money on the criminal justice system and more prisons-do we really want convictions harming the records and job prospects of our kids when some of the most successful people in the world probably did it in college? I want to tax the hell out it. I see decriminalization sweeping the country in the next decade

While true, it is currently illegal in Florida and Pellini was in a position of authority. At the very least, he should have been fired for bad judgment.

I work for a company that has more employees than FAU has students and staff. Drug testing? Absolutely not. Photos emerge of any of us hitting a bong? Laughter and some teasing at happy hour. Busted for possession? A referral to a good lawyer.

These draconian policies have been eliminated years ago at major corporations. It's not like the guy was operating heavy machinery.

I am about to start a job where the chief honcho is worth just shy of $2 billion and us a weed smoker.

The whole thing is stupid. Though I'm don't partake either, you're right there is nothing wrong with pot. Decriminalization is happening and it's a good thing.

I feel very sorry for Pelini.

Why would you feel sorry for an adult in a responsible position getting caught knowingly breaking the law?

I am not big on taxing wage earners to death, but sin taxes are just fine with me. The participant has full decision as to whether or not he or she wishes to partake.

What company do you work for? I've never managed to get a serious job without a drug test.

I'd be willing to pay a large tax on it jut so that I don't have to interact with my "Pineapple Express-like" dealer.

Because the law is stupid and to have one's career ruined because of it is sad.

HaHa Good one Goofy. Annual Budget Deficit came out yesterday Goofy. For 4th straight year Budget Deficit has dipped under Democratic Prresident and has been cut by over half from the last Annual Budget Deficit of the last Republican President. In fact there is now about an unbroken chain of 33 years with Budget Deficits going down under Democratics and up with Republicans.
