I think the Northwestern uniforms look like crap with a draped American flag on them

Annnnnnnnndddd that's why you have no say in uniforms or college athletics in general. Northwestern is in the Big 10 for a reason while SMU isn't. I'm also pretty sure you're in the camp that thinks alternate uniforms have no effect on recruiting.
Many have bled and died fighting for this country. If you want to be PC about it, then that's your prerogative but don't moan about it here. Plus, those aren't bloodstains anyway.
Last time I checked, Coog High isn't in the Big 10, Big XII, SEC, PAC-12, ACC either.

I agree with bergermeister, looks ridiculous. And I'm all for SMU going with alternates, but there can always be room for taste. To each is own.
