I don't mind eating a little humble pie from time to time. The criticism of Congrove is fair, just like criticizing Sagarin is fair.

No team in that poll except UTEP is doing bad. SMU down a little but showing signs of life and might make a bowl again which would be an accomplishment. Great to see so many Texas teams finally taking advantage of the talent pool that is Texas High School football and not making excuses. Should form their own TEXAS conference and tv network. We are after all, the greatest state and a nation unto itself. Think of the fun of the old time road trips around the state every Saturday among all those teams. It would be like the SEC with full stadiums most of the time!

That's going to fit right in with the Texas secession plan.
