In Texas we are crap, I completely agree, we need a new coach to UNCRAPIFY US!!!

A few observations:
1) College football salaries are outrageous.
2) JJ earns more than all but 4 of the head coaches in the Spanish La Liga (total of 20 teams)
3) JJ is overpaid, as are others, when judged based on performance, especially when compared to the two coaches from MSU and Tortilla tech. It's disheartening to consider the opportunity cost of what could have been had we been successful and top 25 in a few years.
4) In relative terms, Kelly at ND is getting a raw deal
5) Hard to judge the ROI on other coaches in the power conferences since it's difficult to tell what they would have done if they were not in one to begin with
6) no info on LB's salary on the b-ball coaches. But, i would say he's likely underpaid.
7) Coach K - wow.

Kelley deal at ND is self imposed because of the death of that videographer I think

What's a fair salary for a college coach? Does the standard differ at all depending on who's paying?

Ok, I need help.
Are we suppose to fire Jones cause he doesn't have a top 25 salary or fire him because he doesn’t have a bottom 10 salary? This middle of the road stuff is so confusing.

Salary #52. Ranking last two years: #54. He owes the CoC the money back for those two spots.

+1
Saban at $5M is a bargain for 'Bama considering the alumni donations he generates.
What's the difference in TV contracts between the AAC and the new CUSA? JJ might have earned his salary right there.

I was looking at the MWC numbers yesterday. Interesting that the AAC schools are playing 2-3 times more than MWC schools. Some commitment there

How do you figure we rank way below #3 in the AAC right now? I think we have a very good chance of finishing third or tied for third in the conference at season's end.

Considering we are now in a new conference with a slightly higher payout, I would say the school is getting a return on its investment.

good point ECM - we should wait for the season to end before we can make the proper analysis.

If you look at AAC, there are still tiers within our own conference:
LV
Cincy
SMU
USF
Uconn
UCF
the rest
You can really tell which schools are trying to compete with the P5!

By the way, NC, my 9 year old daughter is mad about your bikini picture. She told me to tell you that that girl's suit is too small for such a large bottom.

I disagree with your 9 year old daughter
