Yep, not a single coach worth keeping. We need to expel the stink of mediocrity from this program.

Mason would be a great Canadian Football defensive coordinator. We are getting them to 3rd downs every time.

Unfortunately, this isn't Canadian football.

Yes we do. Promoted him from QC. Seriously.

"Tom Mason is a very good DC." Oh really? What the hell has he done without JG Davis or Taylor Reed on the defense? He had some special LBs the past few years. That made him look better than he is[/quote

Our defense is the same as it was last year. I bet Beau Barnes has more sacks than Margus had at this time last year. We just haven't gotten tHe tUrnovers.]

Mason has little to work with. I agree with Stallion that the reason to fire Mason, if there is one, is because of recruiting. All heads should roll in that case. But when you don't have talent you don't win. Simple. Wake up.

Coach Mason does recruit and goes to high school games and school visits a lot. And I would say probably more than anyone on the staff

Not that I am giving mason a pass, but he has had a lot if injuries and losing greenbauer is killer. And it's very hard to hide Parks. They went at like like every other team we've played. Hate to bag on the kid, but we give up a lot on his side.

I would not have believe the impact the loss of Greenbauer would have on the defense. Secondary has been lost since he has been out.

Yes. I thought he was real good but didn't realize how good until he was gone. Big difference maker.

Our D-line is so small and not very good with really average depth behind them . What can anyone hope for under those circumstances. And our so called improved secondary has not performed up to that billing most of the year. And the linebackers are good not great. Hence we give up a LOT of points.

Look at the scores across the nation. We did not give up a lot of points. We gave up a lot of time we could have used on offense, but we did not give up a lot of points in relative terms.

the special teams coach should be boiled in oil. Mason not so much. I have to wonder how much his recruiting was restricted by jj.

Mason is an Evaluator
Not a good recruiter
There is a difference
We need both
