Very true, but a dropped pass in the end zone, holding call on a running TD, and 2 missed field goals are not defensive errors.Mustangsabu wrote:And we would have scored more if our D didn't let Cincy have the ball for 8 minutes at a time.
That's true but how did it go so upside down. How is it so bad that it looks like Junes offense is flawless??Stallion wrote:are you a freshman? Did you watch SMU last year? Defense won every game
He's cougar kings new alter ego since CK has been banned from the Houston board.Stallion wrote:are you a freshman? Did you watch SMU last year? Defense won every game
pay attention to who we recruit against for our committed recruitsSMU_Alumni11 wrote:That's true but how did it go so upside down. How is it so bad that it looks like Junes offense is flawless??Stallion wrote:are you a freshman? Did you watch SMU last year? Defense won every game
Yes, but I am talking about the current season. There is nothing we can change in 2012. In 2013, our defense has lost us every game by allowing 40+ points from everyone we've played!Stallion wrote:are you a freshman? Did you watch SMU last year? Defense won every game
JJ ain't getting no "effin" contract extensionfeelthehorsepower wrote:Cincinnati did a good job pounding us on the ground and wearing off our defense. They knew we could score when we had the ball so they made sure we stayed off the field. As far as coaching, I am starting to feel that SMU's problem isn't really June Jones. His attitude doesn't really help but he is actually a great offensive coach, and possibly the only reason we stay in the game. On the other hand, our defense has been horrible, and our coaching has to change. If JJ is given a contract extension, we need new Defense and Special teams coaches!
Yeah but our offense recruits don't look all that great either. Heck our recruits in general are pretty fcs talented.Stallion wrote:pay attention to who we recruit against for our committed recruitsSMU_Alumni11 wrote:That's true but how did it go so upside down. offense has been pitiful in the years before this. hal mumme and garret gilbert have a lot to do with the improvement in offense this year.. not JJ.feelthehorsepower wrote:Cincinnati did a good job pounding us on the ground and wearing off our defense. I say in the event that our great school decides to keep him....LHS81 wrote:JJ ain't getting no "effin" contract extensionfeelthehorsepower wrote:Cincinnati did a good job pounding us on the ground and wearing off our defense.
