Wow that's more than enough to pack a 50k house!Stallion wrote:26,000,000 Texans X .02 = 520,000 SMU fans!!!!!!!!!
The only poll that matters is that sadly Ford gets 20k on a good day and the Whorens, Tortilla Tech and Aggy get their 60-85k people in there. Of course there's nothing else to do on a Saturday in Austin, Lubbock or College Station, and their undergrad body ranges from 20k-50kEast Coast Mustang wrote:This poll is a joke, and to claim that PPP is "legitimate" is debatable at best.
Just like how in politics, the only poll that matters is on election day, the only poll that matters here is at the gate.
So why do you want to expand Ford to 50k?feelthehorsepower wrote:The only poll that matters is that sadly Ford gets 20k on a good day and the Whorens, Tortilla Tech and Aggy get their 60-85k people in there. I want to expand Ford as our schools starts to gain prominence in college football. When we become a winning program with a strong following in Dallas, we will need a bigger houseEast Coast Mustang wrote:So why do you want to expand Ford to 50k?feelthehorsepower wrote:The only poll that matters is that sadly Ford gets 20k on a good day and the Whorens, Tortilla Tech and Aggy get their 60-85k people in there. The horns are the only team in Austin, is what I meant. Dallas has lots of other teams that you can become a fan of and invest your money to go to games, buy gear etc. (Cowboys, Mavs, Stars, TCU, UNT, SMU, UTA etc.) so we face tougher competition for sports entertainment dollars. There's obviously drinking to do in Austin...but what about sports entertainment?SMU2007 wrote:Yea there's not much to do in Austin![]()
Excellent point.
