Do we still have time to get better rated players to commit to SMU, or are we stuck with what already committed? And hey don't doubt those 3 star kids...they can surprise you.

Looking into the Rivals recruits that are committed...I don't see any 3 stars except Darrell Colbert...........

Yes, we have no 3 stars and Colbert has zero other offers which should tell you something. Now you're starting to get what we've all been saying

I jumped off the S.S. June last year. Who's left? Abu, PlanoStang, ponyboy?
His time is up for me and I want a new coach. I just feel zero need to crucify the guy after he's done everything I could have hoped he would do. He literally SAVED the football program. And he had some part in getting the basketball program to where it is too.

I might have overstated, you named 2 of the ones I was thinking about. I can't remember anyone else that has recently posted anything unequivocally supporting June.

Would a new coach honor many of the commitments for next year?

Unless he brought a bunch from wherever he is, I'm not sure how much of a choice we have.

bingo. I was going to say what few fans we have left aren't really going to be affected one way or another. We might lose a few more, but most will still support the program and complain about what might have been

As much as I want JJ to leave, I will still buy my season tickets next year and still contribute to the Mustang Club. I will be gnashing my teeth as I do so, but I am a diehard Mustang now for 58 years and cannot quit now.

I've supported JJ by not posting about football. Well, as much as possible.

Same here. It may be a sickness, but its our sickness. I'll never stop supporting SMU sports no matter what.
