Key words being "May" and "Or"...

In other words they are just speculating like those of us on PonyFans, and the writer and his sources have no idea.

The sources are CP and PF

I don't know if this rumor is true or not, but did anyone notice that all of the articles referenced each other - in essence using each other as sources. So if one is wrong they are all wrong.

If it is true: I am at the small, singular moment of trepidation before the trigger is pulled. JJ is the devil I know. I would feel better if I had greater insight into the inner workings of the Athletic Department. I think it needs to happen and it should happen (if I was the man - I would do it), but SMU's history of coaching hires makes me nervous.

If it is false: Why are these people toying with our emotions!!!

this "source" is definitely ponyfans. Apparently people have been reading into our pipe dreams as being actual inside info.

In a way, this made my night. just knowing someone In the media thinks enough of our nonsense to take our thoughts seriously.

I think it goes way deeper than that. PF is not the source.

No, we had the happy hours at Ozona's and the famous 'pencil' remarks. Then this year, nothing. And no explanation. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Yup, say what you will, but the lunches attracted hundreds of people, then the happy hours dozens. Now we hear from him in PF post practice interviews and that's it.

Guys come on. Add it all up. This was his last year. That has been in the works for quite some time.
