You are right Myrdel. Just got back from the grocery store near my house and it was packed. No carts were available and a lady asked me if she could walk with me to my car so that she could get my cart. I just grabbed the bags I had and gave it to her.mrydel wrote:Let's all go buy milk and bread!!!!

You could say the same thing about Dallas. I believe Dallas is near top in road range incidents.mrydel wrote:In LA don't they shoot instead of honk?

Hey if it's ice and trees start falling - 30 degrees with no power can be an issue.fifty wrote:Oh no it's going to be 30 degrees tomorrow and Saturday.Shut D-town down!

Here it is still just raining but all schools are closed tomorrow, and the weekend playoff high school FB games have all been postponed a week. I have to go up and down hills and over long bridges so I think I will declare my office closed tomorrow.

Heard on the news that the Dallas Marathon on Sunday is still on. for those that have never trained in sub freezing weather they are in for a real adventure. first problem is they don't know how to dress. then seeing sweat turn to ice on facial hair and eyebrows is always worth a picture.

One of the best weeks of my life. Got a pledge to drive us over to Fort Worth one day to see all of the Super Bowl stuff. Went to Milo's every single day/nightblackoutpony wrote:I remember my junior year when we had the ice week (super bowl year) and it was awesome since there was no school. I commute to Fort Worth and live by SMu. Can't decide if I'm going to drive. I usually leave at 6 am and it seems like since very few cars will have driven on the roads at that time it could be really icy
