If we are only going to sign maybe one more player I can understand a certain lack of news, essentially it is all over. However, I wish JJ would tell us that we only have X scholarships so we will be signing a small class, really that JJ would just keep the fanbase informed.

They should already be working on the following year if they are only signing 1 more for the current class...

Stop thinking ahead and making rationale suggestions. There's no room for that on PF

Good point. I'm really not familiar with how that while deal goes down.

in 3 1/2 months about 50% of the top recruits in the Class of 2015 will have committed. 28 have committed already including 3 TCU commitments and 3 Baylor commitments from peer schools

And us?
I quit going to the recruiting board. Nothing to read and I get all the hoops recruiting by following HoopmanX in twitter. It keeps me sane.

I'd say to be fair SMU is trying to recruit earlier in the 2015 Class but I'd also say they always behind
Offers to Class of 2015
SMU 13
TCU 34
Baylor 39
Tech 41
UH 24
Is Larry Brown ever behind in recruiting? Interestingly enough, Larry Brown also has 13 offers out for 2015 Class for a class 1/5th or so as large

No. LB recruiting is fast and furious.

Unless my math is off, there were 15 seniors on the 2013 roster, but I believe 14 were scholarship guys. Mike Loftus walked with the graduating seniors and already has a degree, so let's assume he doesn't use his last year of eligibility. In addition, Lincoln Richard and Christian Miller no longer are listed on the roster, so let's assume they're gone. Brian Cramer transferred. Anyone else that I have missed? If that's the final total of scholarships that have freed up, it's possible this class is done, unless there is more movement from players currently on the roster or any recruits change schools.

Brian Cramer transferred. He was the JV guy that Bert Hill offered.

we probably aren't done-it doesn't matter how many remaining spots we have 9 months before it counts-plus we always gray shirt somebody and every year there are non-qualifiers or non-projected qualifiers who we drop. I wouldn't be surprised if June didn't clean some deadwood in the roster either if he stays. Someone will transfer. Somebody might flunk out too. We have gone over 85 just about every year. We've never signed this small a class

Sign 25. Clean out the dead wood to stay at 85.*
*See Larry Brown
